As a couple we have enjoyed the well equipped apartment, its nice view, the calm area and the great customer service provided! We surely recommend this place to our friends for a nice stay in Paris.
Simon – July 14

My girlfriend and I had a great 4 days in Ruben’s flat. It’s just as the photos and description say. Balcony views of Sacre Coeur and the Eiffel Tower were lovely and we watched the Bastille Day fireworks from there. Two Metro stops are about 5 min walk away. A really nice cafe and bakery less than 50metres away. The delightful Montmartre area all around. The flat was clean, comfortable and Ruben was very helpful to deal with. I thoroughly recommend this flat for your stay in Paris.

Victoria – May 14

Ruben met us when we arrived gave us the apartment tour and how everything worked, as well as the closest grocery, restaurants, etc – really helpful. Also had given us a very detailed arrival sheet by email before we arrived and it was very appreciated. Apartment was great – the pictures he posts are accurate – the view is that awesome! So wonderful to have our breakfast on the balcony each day with a fresh baguette or pastry from the bakery across the street! Left us coffee as well – very appreciated! Location was perfect and a quick walk to the Metro – only used the Lamark – Caulaincourt station. Very comfortable and would definitely recommend it as a great place to stay in Paris – really made our trip special.

Unfortunately we couldn’t meet Ruben but his friend was very kind with us. The apartment is great but the view from the balcony is just awesome! I recommend it for your stay in Paris. Carmen.

We had a flight delay and arrived 2hrs later. Ruben was worried for us and texted and called me. I was so amazed that he truly cared that we got to the apt alright and not because of the commercial aspect of the rental. His apt is beyond superb. Linens and blankets readily available, kitchen amenities complete for light cooking and best of all he invited us to share in anything available in the apt. Coffee, coffee maker, olive oil and such. He allowed us to check out late and also gave a polite text to ensure all was well. I LOVED the warm apt in winter, the elevator, the balcony with a view to the Eiffel and Sacre Coeur. The only minuscule downer is the distance to the metro BUT that’s coz I’m not used to walking beyond 2 blocks for a metro, so it’s all me and nothing to do with Jon or his lovely apt. That said though, the apt has restaurants, superamkts n bakery nearby. Truly a great experience and despite my ‘whine’, I’d like to return next time I’m in Paris again.

We spent a wonderful 10 nights in Ruben’s great apartment in Dec 2013/Jan 2014. It was perfectly located in Montmartre with the best view from the 8th floor – Sacre Coeur on one side and we could see the Eiffel tower on the other which was very special. The apartment was really comfortable and clean and a great place to crash after a day of exploring. The 95 bus stop and Guy Moquet metro station were really close by, which is how we got around Paris. Ruben was really helpful and the apartment was really well appointed with everything we could possibly need. We would highly recommend Ruben’s apartment and would love to stay again.

The apartment was great, amazing location, the balcony a luxury in Paris. Ruben was a perfect host and I could have not desired for more. Perfect 5 days is Paris!!

Lovely little apartment, we stayed for 4 nights and spent most of our time in Montmatre but we wandered into central Paris on foot and it’s easy to get around thanks to it being near two metro lines. The Christmas lights around Montmatre were lovely and there was a market at Sacré Coeur that opened 2nd weekend of Dec. The local shops are really close by and have great bistros, cafes, wine, food and anything else you’d need. The apartment is a typical old Parisan place and had everything we needed. With the old wood floors and quirky kitchen and bathroom you really feel like a local and you get great views from the main room and balcony the lift up to the 8th floor is an experience! We really enjoyed our time at Rubens; it was a lovely place to stay and he was a very helpful host. The navigation instructions he sent were very clear and explicit so no one would get lost, he also had maps and guide books on Paris so we always knew where we were going! good times!

Ruben’s flat is an excellent place to stay in Montmartre. The terrace views are truly out of this world. Gorgeous views by day and the Eiffel Tower light show in the distance by night. The location is great – loved Cafe Le Brio on the corner, wandering Rue des Abbesses, heading to Cinema Studio 28, and trekking up to Sacre-Coeur. It’s also quick to the metro if you want to see a different part of Paris. Ruben was a very responsive and courteous host. He wasn’t in town during my stay, but his girlfriend greeted me and showed me around the place. She even gave some great shopping recommendations! All in all a great place to stay and I would recommend to anyone looking to explore this area.

We had a great time in Ruben’s apartment. The little terrace with a view of the rooftops of Montemarte was fantastic. Coffee and Croissants in the morning, wine, bread and cheese in the evening. A great start and end to each day. Altogether fabulous. Tim and Kathy Melchior

Ruben’s flat is a great place to rest your weary legs after a long day of trekking around Paris. It’s on a nice quiet street in Montmartre with a great view and tons of restaurants and bars within short walking distance. Also very convenient to the metro. The flat was very clean and organized and offered everything we needed for a nice stay. Thanks!

An amazing apartment with view of Sacré Coeur and Tour Eiffel… (advantages of the 8th floor…) We did not have a chance to meet Ruben but he updated us on details where to pick up the keys, etc. We found everything in place, cutlery and all. A nice experience is the BBox TV which has an amazing choice of channels and good music as well. But the balcony where we had breakfast and dinners is just explicitely wonderful. We saw a barbecue set on the OTHER balcony (yes, it has two), but we did not use it.

Great location – stone’s through from the metro. Cute apartment – lots of amiable ‘zen’ charms everywhere if that’s your cup of tea? Shower is good – flat is cosy and warm – Ruben was very accommodating.

My family and I enjoyed staying in this quirky little apartment. The location was fantastic, with lots of nice restaurants, cafés and bars near by. Ruben was very accommodating with our various requests, and provided tea and coffee for our arrival. Everything was also clean and tidy which we appreciated. Thanks Ruben!
